A couple of Ideas
1.) A single mother is forced to cooperate in a million dollar bank robbery, in order to receive her kidnapped son back.
2.) Twins separated at birth find each other, and discover they are of royal background and have a great inheritance waiting for them.
3.) A high school teacher puts the entire school on lock down, giving the police a Ransom of 50 million.
