BUS STOP...
A medium cup of french vanilla, light and sweet coffee has always been my breakfast every morning. But today it seemed totally different. I could barely taste the sweetness at all. It was only yersturday that i found out Jeremy, my only son died. I felt like it was all a dream, it was the phone call of my nightmares. Why did this happen to him, he was only 23, his life was just begining, and mine feels like its at its end. Seven years i have been coming to this same bus stop, 173 towards Bloomfiled. Never did i notice the elk tree, with its roots stretching far beneathe the bus stop cubicle. It was a tree of life, growing and growning. My son should be growing as we speak, but instead is dead.

Notes to my Biography
I enjoyed this short story.....The main character is an extremely smart older man, who says things as is. He does not hesitate to say whats on his mind which is one of the reasons i enjoyed this character.
It is clear throughout the story that Franklin has some sort of disease. He is very abrupt and spontaneous. His mood is able to change in a matter of seconds.
I felt sympathy to his suffering son. Not only is he suffering from his fathers problems, but he states that he also has the same problem............
I felt it was a heartfelt story, going deeper than the surface, It makes the reader think.....

The Usual/or not....
Mondays, the worse day of the week. The beginning of the same routine and schedule followed for numerous years. It was a typical work day. Alarm at 6:30 am, shower, dress, grab a nutragrain bar, stop at Dunkin Donuts for the same medium coffee light and sweet. Nothing out of the ordinary.
As i was driving down railroad way, right before the second light i heard a thump and then a whimper. I got out of my Cadillac CTS, to investigate where the sound cane from. i had just hit a bulldog. I walked back to my car, i always kept paper towels in the glove compartment. i found the roll took a sheet and wiped the blood stains off my white car. I got back into the car m reversed slightly, then a little to the right, then i was off.....

Super Embarrassinnnn
Looking back at my wholesome twenty years of life i havent had that many embarrassing moments. I can actually count the incidents on one hand.
Although this is true i do recall one which sticks out above the rest. It was a typical friday night. Hanging out with the bestie, going shopping to the mall etc. Everyrthing was all fine and dandy. It was finally time for my friend and i to leave. So we began walking towards my White Honda Accord. As im pressing the unlock button on my keys nothing happens. I keep prressing it yet the familiar "beebee" is not heard. Giving up on that, i decide to unlock the car manually. I stick the key into the doors key slot, yet as im rtrying to turn the key, irt wouldnt budhe. It was as if it was the wrong key. I keep trying to turn the key slowly, it still didnt work. I even tried the passenger side.
" What are you doin to my car" a voice behind me calls. There was a guy late twenties, standing tall keys in hand. Everything began clicking in my head, the alarm key thing not working, the keys not turning. It wasnt the wrong key it had been the wrong car all along. I felt and looked sooo stupid just standing therre trying to open a car that wasnt even mine. Ya the guy tried to be nice i mean he even said "dnt worry bout it, this happens to everyone...." ya right.....

Stereotypical Characters
Cliche:
1.) The Nerd: Usually the leader of the math club/chess club/and or computer club. Wears thick glasses, has a squeaky nasal voice. Doesn't play any sports. Scrawny, usually bullied by jocks.
2.)The friendly Fat guy: Seen as a bubbly person, always laughing, telling jokes and extremely sweet. Friends with the girls all the guys want. Gives good advice and loyal.
3.) Captain Cheerleader: A beach blonde, with the perfect body and tan. Dates the captain of either the basketball or football team. Is bitchy to other girls, and extremely flirty with all the guys. A brownoser to the teachers and a goody-good to her parents.
4.) Single mother: A struggling mom with two jobs trying to make ends meet. Usually fighting to pay the rent. Her children are struggling at school and teachers are "concerned"
5.)The goth: Dark tight clothing, hair and nails. Piercings anywhere. In their own world. Barley talks. Eye liner like no other.
Not so stereotypical:
1.) The Nerd: At school a nerd, but at night secretly the new unbeatable champ boxer. Wears a mask when boxing so not to reveal his identity.
2.) The friendly fat guy: Friendliness just a cover up. Mr. Friendly is a computer mastermind.

4.) Single Mother: Instead of having 2 jobs to support her children, she becomes a hit man and secretly loves every second of it.
5.) The goth; Secretly writes children's stories under a pseudonym.

Hometown
5th avenue, Clifton, New Jersey has always been my hometown. I lived in the same house since the day i was born. Its a two family house, where my family lives on the second floor and my uncle lives on the first floor. I have so many memories in this house both good and bad. The house also has a furnished basement as well as attic.
I remeber when i was about eight years old, my cousins were over for my brothers fifth birthday. We were playing hide and seek. The basement had so many great places to hide. It was dark and there were little corners here and there that we were able to hide in. My cousin and i decided to hide where my uncle stored his mountain bikes. He usually had them covered up with big blankets. That day he did have them covered up so it was a perfect place to hide. My cousin and i hid under the many blankets and waited. After a while i felt something move near my foot, but ignored it thinking it was my cousins foot. Then it happened again and i asked her to stop touching my leg. She said it wasnt her. I began to panic and started moving the blankets. To our surprise next to my foot were a group of four baby kittens all cuddled up between the blankets. They had to be only a couple days old because their eyes were only open a slit and they were tiny. I never forgot that day. I wanted to keep them, but my dad hates cats and gave them away to his friend.
Like i ssaid there are soo many memories in this house i live in and many things i will never forget....
