Notes to my Biography

I enjoyed this short story.....The main character is an extremely smart older man, who says things as is. He does not hesitate to say whats on his mind which is one of the reasons i enjoyed this character.
It is clear throughout the story that Franklin has some sort of disease. He is very abrupt and spontaneous. His mood is able to change in a matter of seconds.
I felt sympathy to his suffering son. Not only is he suffering from his fathers problems, but he states that he also has the same problem............
I felt it was a heartfelt story, going deeper than the surface, It makes the reader think.....

The Usual/or not....

Mondays, the worse day of the week. The beginning of the same routine and schedule followed for numerous years. It was a typical work day. Alarm at 6:30 am, shower, dress, grab a nutragrain bar, stop at Dunkin Donuts for the same medium coffee light and sweet. Nothing out of the ordinary.

As i was driving down railroad way, right before the second light i heard a thump and then a whimper. I got out of my Cadillac CTS, to investigate where the sound cane from. i had just hit a bulldog. I walked back to my car, i always kept paper towels in the glove compartment. i found the roll took a sheet and wiped the blood stains off my white car. I got back into the car m reversed slightly, then a little to the right, then i was off.....

Super Embarrassinnnn

Looking back at my wholesome twenty years of life i havent had that many embarrassing moments. I can actually count the incidents on one hand.

Although this is true i do recall one which sticks out above the rest. It was a typical friday night. Hanging out with the bestie, going shopping to the mall etc. Everyrthing was all fine and dandy. It was finally time for my friend and i to leave. So we began walking towards my White Honda Accord. As im pressing the unlock button on my keys nothing happens. I keep prressing it yet the familiar "beebee" is not heard. Giving up on that, i decide to unlock the car manually. I stick the key into the doors key slot, yet as im rtrying to turn the key, irt wouldnt budhe. It was as if it was the wrong key. I keep trying to turn the key slowly, it still didnt work. I even tried the passenger side.
" What are you doin to my car" a voice behind me calls. There was a guy late twenties, standing tall keys in hand. Everything began clicking in my head, the alarm key thing not working, the keys not turning. It wasnt the wrong key it had been the wrong car all along. I felt and looked sooo stupid just standing therre trying to open a car that wasnt even mine. Ya the guy tried to be nice i mean he even said "dnt worry bout it, this happens to everyone...." ya right.....
